L-Lysine is also important for tissue growth and repair due to its collagen-forming properties. It is concentrated in muscle tissue, promotes the absorption of calcium and aids good bone formation. Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C are co-factors for the absorption and intracellular action of L-Lysine, these enable the L-Lysine to be better utilised by the body.
